A native of Colorado, Trish has worked for the Finance Department since 2009, starting as assistant director and then moving to director in 2012. With her 25-year accounting background and management experience, Trish leads the department with expertise, creativity, caring and humor that foster excellence, innovation and strong relationships Townwide.
As finance director, Trish is responsible for the overall operation
of the Finance Department. This includes the comprehensive administration and strategic leadership of all fiscal activities for the Town. She is a member of the national and local chapters of the Government Finance Officers Association.
Trish earned a bachelor of science in accountancy from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and holds a certified public accountant license in Colorado. Prior to joining the Town, Trish spent 15 years in public accounting at the auditing firm Grant Thornton, where she specialized in auditing and consulting for governmental entities. Also, she owned a financial consulting firm for five years.
Trish, her husband, her two adult children and two dogs reside in Castle Rock. You can find them hiking the Colorado Trail, fishing in Florida, cheering on her daughter – a D-1 college athlete – or visiting her son, a CSU Ram and an avid fly fisherman.
