Virtual Design Review Board Meeting:  March 10, 2021 6 p.m.


Notice is hereby given that an application has been made for a Site Development Plan for Lots 13-16, Block 11, Wilcox Addition and parts of vacated Jerry Street, and Lots 7-12, Block 3, Town of Castle Rock, County of Douglas, State of Colorado (storage units, northeast corner of Sixth and Jerry Streets, “The View”). The application proposes to demolish the existing storage units and to construct a building with approximately 221 residential units over four levels, sitting on top of a two-level concrete podium with retail space, offices, residential amenities, and approximately 399 parking spaces within a garage and 33 parking spaces on the street. A portion of the garage parking is planned for public use. The proposed building would be six stories tall.

Previous neighborhood meetings occurred virtually on March 4, 2020, Sept. 17, 2020, Nov. 16, 2020, and March 4, 2021.

Pursuant to Resolutions 2020-044, 2020-045, and 2020-122 as approved by Town Council, a virtual public hearing on said application will be held before the Design Review Board at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. Public comments are encouraged.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the hearing will be held remotely with no in-person attendance. If you would like to participate in the virtual public hearing, please see one of the options below:
