Can my business put out a sandwich board sign?

The Town of Castle Rock Municipal Code allows one sandwich board in the public right of way per organization. 

Sandwich boards are:

  • Allowed during daylight hours only (no illumination)
  • Permitted during hours that the organization is physically occupying the building where the board is placed
  • Not to exceed 4 feet in height and 8 square feet
  • Not to create a safety hazard for pedestrians or motorists
    • Cannot block the view of pedestrian crossings or intersections
    • Maintains a minimum of 4 feet clear sidewalk width
    • Cannot block building entrances or exits
