What to know about snow!
We're quickly approaching our snowiest months of the year. When snow piles up, do
you know who's responsible for clearing it?
While the Town removes snow from Town-managed parks, trails and buildings, it is the responsibility of residents and businesses to remove snow and ice from sidewalks within 48 hours of each snow event (with 2 inches or more of accumulation). If you live on a corner, snow removal is required on both sidewalks; please keep curbs and gutters free
Senior citizens and persons with disabilities who are unable to clear snow from their sidewalks may receive assistance from these organizations: Aging Resources of Douglas County – call 303-814-4300 or email firstname.lastname@example.org; To the Rescue – call 720-851-2100 or email email@example.com.
Throughout snow season, follow the Town on social media for Snow-tifications and plowing updates. Residents can also visit CRgov.com/Snow for more information on
snow operations. More questions? Reach out to Public Works at Roads@CRgov.com
or by phone at 720-733-2462.
