Special Town Council meeting called for Nov. 24 to consider a resolution and a letter to Gov. Polis opposing CDPHE moving Douglas County to Level Red on the State’s COVID-19 Dial, closing indoor dining at local restaurants
Councilmembers have called a special Town Council meeting for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, so Council can consider approving a resolution and a letter to Gov. Jared Polis opposing the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment moving Douglas County to Level Red on the State’s COVID-19 Dial, which has forced the closure of indoor dining at local restaurants. The public will be allowed to provide input on the resolution and letter prior to Council taking any action on the items, which are anticipated to request that the State reconsider this recent decision, which has severe impacts on restaurants in Town.
The draft resolution and letter are not yet available for public review but will be posted to the Town’s website no later than the close of business Monday, Nov. 23. Visit http://CRgov.com/agendas
to access these items after that time.
