[ARCHIVED] Tickets on sale now for Friday, Feb. 12 Daddy Daughter Ball

Daddy Daughter Ball 2016

You’re her first love and the ultimate super hero. Dads show your little girls what special really looks like at the 16th annual Daddy Daughter Ball.

This year’s event is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, at the Douglas County Events Center, 500 Fairgrounds Drive. Tickets are on sale now at the Recreation Center, the MAC at Philip S. Miller Park, and online at

Advance tickets are $25 per couple ($35 for nonresidents). Admission at the door is $35 per couple ($45 for nonresidents). Tickets for additional daughters are $8 each.

All ages are welcome to experience the candy-land beauty of this year’s theme, Sweet Memories. It’s sure to leave you with a sugar high. Join us for a night of dancing, music and fun – grandparents and grandchildren are also welcome. Refreshments and dessert will be served.

Additionally, the ball is always filled with glitz and glamour, so daddies, wear your best, and ask your little girls to wear their prettiest dress. A professional photographer will be on site to capture all the memorable moments.

Like in years past, the Parks and Recreation Department’s Teen Advisory Group will be hosting a raffle at the ball. The raffle items will be good for both daddies and daughters. The Teen Advisory Group is a group of young residents who play an active role in planning and carrying out Parks and Recreation activities for the community’s youth.
