The Town’s Daddy Daughter Ball just keeps getting bigger and better.
The event’s swelling attendance, which reached nearly 1,000 last year, has necessitated an even bigger venue for this year’s 10th annual dance.
The enchanting evening will be Saturday, Feb. 6, at the Douglas County Events Center, leaving more than enough room for all the daddies and daughters to cut a rug.
“We’re excited to host the dance at the Events Center this year,” said Parks and Recreation Business Analyst Kristen Trbovich, who organizes the dance. “With the additional space, we can add some little touches that will make a big difference.”
In addition to music and dancing, the ball will feature professional photographers to capture the memories; special giveaways for the little ladies; games for those who enjoy shaking a leg; and sweet snacks to keep everyone’s energy amped.
The theme for this year’s dance is the Streetlights of Paris. It will run from 6 to 8 p.m.
Preregistration is available at http://tinyurl.com/ddball10 and costs $25 per duo for residents and $30 for nonresidents. Admission at the door is $35 per pair for residents and $40 for nonresidents. Additional family members will be admitted for $8 each.
All ages are welcome, including grandparents and grandchildren. Little girls grow up so fast – don’t miss this chance to spend a special evening together you both will remember for years to come.
