The Town, along with the Economic Development Council, Chamber and Downtown Alliance, has scheduled a business and economic forum for business owners and residents, alike. The meeting is set for Thursday, May 5, 9 – 11:30 a.m. at Town Hall, Council Chambers, 100 N. Wilcox St.
This is the third, annual business forum that the Town has hosted and the one time per year attendees have an opportunity to hear the broad scope of Castle Rock’s economic development goals. The forum is designed to provide information about the Town’s growth and to facilitate discussion on new ideas for collaborative future development.
“It’s important for our residents to understand that they’re an important component of our local economy,” said Finance Director Charles Montoya. “The stronger our economic base, the more our community as a whole benefits.”
Business owners and residents are invited to come and listen or actively participate in discussions. Planned presentations include:•Economic Development – update on new and expanding businesses•Downtown Alliance – existing programs and new plans•Small Business Resources and Retention•Shop Locally
