Castle Rock Police Department’s community academies are back! Adults 18 and older will learn what it’s like to be a CRPD officer in our Citizens Police Academy, a 10-week program filled with hands-on experiences, live demonstrations and classroom sessions. Classes will mostly be held Wednesdays beginning April 19 through June 28. Find out more at CRgov.com/Academy.
Middle and high school students can attend the Youth Police Academy, an educational and leadership-building experience organized by CRPD school resource officers. Plus, returning students who have already attended a Youth Police Academy are encouraged to apply for the YPA Leadership track. The Castle Rock Police Department will offer two separate weeklong sessions, one in each June and July. Visit CRgov.com/YouthAcademy to learn more.
Don’t wait – both academies are free to attend, but will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
