Keeping the Town’s facilities in top shape is a priority. Castle Rock Recreation Center goers please be aware, the building will be closed starting the week of Aug. 15 for routine maintenance and general cleaning. Improvements include replacement of flooring and painting in many of the activity areas.
The Recreation Center is generally closed for at least a week annually to help make sure the facility stays in tip-top shape. In addition to deep cleaning, this year, crews will be:
- Painting various areas
- Refurbishing wood floors
- Replacing the cardio area and tunnel flooring
A majority of the facility will reopen Saturday, Aug. 20. Please note, the gym, racquetball court and fitness studio/garage will be closed until Monday, Aug. 22. Additionally, the cardio area, including the track, cardio fitness equipment, fitness studio and fitness garage, will remain closed through Friday, Aug. 26. During that time, the North 40 locker room will be accessible from the pool deck.
During the closure, Recreation Center Memberships and multi-visit passes will be valid at The MAC at Philip S. Miller Park or at Butterfield Crossing and Burgess pools. Please be sure to check the availability calendar online before heading out the door.
