“Mama Told Me” this summer is going to rock! Don’t miss when Three Dog Night takes the stage at The Amphitheater at Philip S. Miller Park Saturday, Aug. 6. Tickets are on sale now.

Three Dog Night’s hits weave through the fabric of pop culture on the radio and in TV commercials and major motion pictures. Songs like “Joy to the World,” “Black and White,” “Shambala” and “One” serve to heighten our emotions and crystalize the band’s continued popularity. Created in 1968, the group’s eclectic taste, combined with their ability to recognize and record hits in a unique, distinctive and appealing style, resulted in Three Dog Night dominating the charts for years. Marking more than 50 years on the road, Three Dog Night continues to grow its fan base by keeping up a full schedule of concerts. Since 1986, the band has performed over 2,500 shows including two Super Bowls.

Gates open at 6 p.m. Danny McGaw will start the show at 7 p.m. Three Dog Night will take the stage around 8:30 p.m. Bring a low-profile chair or blanket for general lawn and orchestra seating. Food trucks and a full cocktail bar will be available.

Singer-songwriter Danny McGaw packs an emotional charge that commands a room. Whether it’s intimate acoustic ballads or explosive folk rock anthems, his incisive lyrics and emotional intensity leave an unforgettable impression. 

The Summer Concert Series is part of the Town’s goal to keep our community character alive with community festivals, concerts and activities. The concert series brings Grammy-nominated, world famous acts to Castle Rock on select weekends June through August. Nestled in the beautiful setting of Philip S. Miller Park, The Amphitheater has become one of Colorado’s most-sought-after live music venues. The intimate setting, family friendly environment and amazing acoustics make for a great musical experience.
