Chat with your Town Council member and learn what’s happening in Castle Rock at a series of upcoming open houses being held at Town parks.
Residents are encouraged to drop in to these events to ask their questions and share their thoughts about Town topics. No formal presentations are planned, but a number of Town staff members will be present in addition to Town Council members to help ensure the exchange of a variety of information. Plus, there will be free Kona Ice for all.
Each open house will run from 4 to 6 p.m. Dates and locations will be as follows:
- Tuesday, July 12, at Bison Park, 1390 Clear Sky Way, hosted by District 1 Councilmember Ryan Hollingshead and Mayor Pro Tem/District 3 Councilmember Kevin Bracken
- Tuesday, July 26, at Matney Park, 5790 Lantern Circle, hosted by District 5 Councilmember Caryn Johnson
- Tuesday, Aug. 23, at Rhyolite Regional Park, 1701 Crystal Valley Parkway, hosted by District 6 Councilmember Tim Dietz
- Tuesday, Sept. 13, at Cobblestone Ranch Park, 8571 Castle Oaks Drive, hosted by District 2 Councilmember Laura Cavey
- Thursday, Sept. 29, at Festival Park, 300 Second St., hosted by District 4 Councilmember Desiree LaFleur
Determine your Council district by visiting CRgov.com/ElectionDistricts and finding your home address on the Election District Map. Residents of each district also will be mailed a postcard in advance of the open house in their area.
The events will be held in the parks’ pavilion areas. In the event of severe weather, look to the Town’s official social media accounts @CRgov for up-to-date information, should plans shift.
