Great music, delicious food and drinks, family-friendly fun – what more do you need for a perfect night in Castle Rock? Celebrate the summer season, and help a great cause, at the Town’s Tunes for Trails, Perks for Parks free concert series. The series kicks off Thursday, June 16, with Something Underground.
Throughout the summer, on the third Thursday of the month, join the fun at The Amphitheater at Philip S. Miller Park. Sponsored by the Castle Rock Parks and Trails Foundation, these concerts will feature Colorado bands and are a great way for the entire family to donate, dance and dine. Donations and proceeds from beverage sales will benefit the foundation.
The Castle Rock Parks and Trails Foundation is an organization independent from the Town that works to enhance Castle Rock’s parks, trails and recreational spaces. Currently, the foundation is raising money for the Possibilities Playground at Butterfield Crossing Park. The goal is to raise $1.3 million to renovate the park into a fully inclusive playground that enables children of all abilities to develop physically, socially and emotionally. Learn more about the foundation at getoutdoorscastlerock.org.
The gates open at 5:30 p.m. The concerts run from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Open seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Come early and enjoy yard games, bouncy houses and fun for the entire family. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, or pack a picnic. However, outside alcohol will not be permitted.
