Gym-goers, fitness buffs and swimmers, mark your calendars. The Castle Rock Recreation Center will be closed the week of Aug. 9 for routine maintenance and general cleaning. Improvements include a major overhaul of the parking lot. That project will likely extend past the closure date.
The Recreation Center is generally closed for a week annually to help make sure the facility stays in tip-top shape. In addition to deep cleaning all equipment and facility flooring, this year, crews will be:
Please note, the gym, racquetball court and fitness studio/garage will be closed until Monday, Aug. 16, so crews can complete work on the wood floors.
During the closure, Recreation Center Memberships and multi-visit passes will be valid at the MAC at Philip S. Miller Park or at Butterfield Crossing and Burgess pools. Visit CRgov.com/OutdoorPools for open swim times and more information.
