The summer season is finally here, and we’re getting “Back to Paradise” in Castle Rock. 38 Special takes the stage as part of the Summer Concert Series at Philip S. Miller Park Saturday, June 19. Tickets are on sale now.
After more than four decades, 38 Special continues to bring that “Same Old Feeling” and signature blast of southern rock. Most associate the band with arena-rock pop smashes like “Hold on Loosely,” “Caught Up in You,” “Fantasy Girl” and “Back Where You Belong.” These timeless hits remain a staple on the radio, and are immediately recognizable from the opening cord. You’ll be a “Stone Cold Believer” by the end of the night.
Keep in mind, there will not be a “Second Chance.” Head to CRgov.com/PSMconcerts for tickets. General lawn seats that will have you “Rockin’ into the Night” are still available for $45.
Gates open at 6 p.m. Ian Wagner will open the show at 7 p.m. 38 Special will take the stage around 8:30 p.m. Bring a low-profile chair or blanket and get ready for a night “Like No Other Night.” Food trucks and a full cocktail bar will also be available.
The Summer Concert Series is part of the Town’s goal to keep our community character alive with community festivals, concerts and activities. The concert series brings Grammy-nominated, world famous acts to Castle Rock on select weekends June through September. Nestled in the beautiful setting of Philip S. Miller Park, the Amphitheater has become one of Colorado’s most-sought-after live music venues. The intimate setting, family friendly environment and amazing acoustics make for a great musical experience.
