Looking for the perfect place for your little pumpkins to play during fall break? The Town has you covered with a variety of youth camps hosted by the Parks and Recreation Department. Running between Monday, Oct. 12, and Friday, Oct. 16, the Town’s fall break camps are a great way to keep kids busy while school is out.

The wide range of camp offerings focus on important life skills like friendship, teamwork and non-screen time activities. A full list of fall camp offerings, locations, times and prices can be found at The following programs are open for registration through Thursday, Oct. 8:

Full-day camps:

  • Rock Rec Camp – Oct. 12-16, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.: This award-winning camp is designed to keep elementary-aged children (ages 5-12) busy with hiking, biking, games, sports, swimming and crafts.

Full or half-day camps:

  • Multi-Sport Athletic / Rock Rec Combo Camp – Oct. 12-16, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 or 4 p.m.: This multi-sport camp will provide kids (ages 7-12) the opportunity to learn different sports throughout the week. Sports include basketball, volleyball, soccer, flag football and lacrosse. This morning athletic camp can be combined with an afternoon of Rock Rec Camp to make a full-day of fun.
  • Inspire to Learn and Imagine STEMplicity Games ® / Creative Brikster Fall Camp – Oct. 12-16, 9 a.m. to noon or 3:30 p.m.: This camp offers pure fun while introducing kids (ages 6-12) to various science, engineering and architectural concepts. Campers will use LEGO ® bricks, robots, science kits and craft supplies. The Creative Brikster Fall theme is Star Wars. May the force be with you!

Half-day camps:

  • Mad Science Camp – Oct. 12-16, 9 a.m. to noon: Explore the whimsical word of molecules and magic with bubbling beakers and radical reactions in this exciting chemistry-themed camp. Kids (ages 6-12) will learn about the many types of chemical solutions and how different chemicals react when mixed together.

Specialty camps:

  • Dance Explorations camps
    • Descendants Dance Camp – Wednesday, Oct 14, 4-7 p.m.: Campers (ages 6-12) will join Evie and the gang for a night of Broadway-style dancing, friends and fun.
    • Princess / Super Hero Camp – Wednesday, Oct. 14, 10-11:30 a.m.: Campers (ages 3-5) will experience a magical camp surrounded by favorite princesses and super heroes. Ballet and Hip Hop moves will be explored in a fun and imaginative way.
  • Dungeons and Dragons Camp / Three-Day Adventure – Oct. 12-14, 2-5 p.m.: This three-day adventure uses the roll playing game Dungeons and Dragons to help kids (ages 12-15) develop empathy, problem solving, communication, critical thinking and frustration tolerance. This camp is full of surprises and fit for campers at beginner to advanced experience levels.
