[ARCHIVED] Become a Road Ranger to help keep Castle Rock streets clean

Volunteer for Road Rangers

Residents can play a part in keeping Castle Rock clean by participating in Road Rangers, the Town’s roadside cleanup volunteer program.

Road Ranger volunteers pick up litter along designated major streets around Town. The 30 streets were chosen because they typically have the most trash.

“The saying ‘it takes a village’ runs true with keeping our beautiful Town trash free,” said Public Works Director Dan Sailer. “We could use your help and I am so thankful to those who volunteer to be a part of this important program.”

Individuals or groups are asked to make a one-year commitment to cleaning up a street segment. Trash cleanups are to occur three to four times between April and September. Currently, the Town has 11 streets in need of adoption for the season.

The Town will assist groups in selecting a street to adopt and setting up a pickup schedule. The Town also will provide training, trash bags and reflective safety vests and will pick up and dispose of bags full of litter.

Volunteers must sign an agreement with the Town, attend training and complete an indemnification form. In appreciation of their assistance, the Town will post signs at the beginning and end of each adopted street segment, thanking the volunteers.

To learn more or to adopt a street, visit or contact Monica Cammalleri at or 720-733-2462.
