[ARCHIVED] Councilmember Townsend hosts District 2 virtual open house May 13

District 2 Virtual Open House is May 13 from 7 to 8 p.m.

Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s important for the Castle Rock community to stay connected. District 2 residents are invited to join Councilmember James Townsend and Town of Castle Rock staff for a virtual open house from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 13. 

Councilmember Townsend and Town staff will be available during the open house to answer questions and provide updates on Town news. Things may look a little different right now, but the Town is still hard at work providing public safety services, maintaining parks and open space, reconstructing roads and more. 

The open house will be accessible at To make the best use of the hour-long open house, please answer a few quick questions on to help frame the conversation so we can focus on the topics that are of the greatest interest to residents. 

“I am looking forward to this opportunity to connect virtually with my neighbors and to visit with them about important updates and information related to our community,” said Townsend. 

District 2 includes the Diamond Ridge, Sapphire Pointe, Castle Oaks/Terrain and Cobblestone Ranch neighborhoods. To find out what district you live in, visit
