Board and commission volunteers are a vital part of Town government. They study community issues, influence public policy and provide direction and recommendations to Town Council. Get involved and be a voice for the community.
Every year in May, each board and commission has positions with terms that will expire. Additionally, incumbents must reapply if they are interested in continuing their service.

Candidates will be interviewed virtually between May 11-13 by a team that includes the Councilmember who is the liaison to the board or commission, Town staff and a current member of the board or commission. Most terms are two years unless otherwise noted. Most vacancies must be filled by Castle Rock residents. Applicants can apply for more than one board or commission; however, they can only be appointed to serve on one.
Applications are available at CRgov.com/BoardVacancies. Submit applications to the Town Manager’s Office, 100 N. Wilcox St., or by email to seklund@CRgov.com.
