[ARCHIVED] Beat boredom during school breaks; youth camps start March 16

Spring Break Camps

Don’t let the weather fool you. Spring break is quickly approaching. Make sure the kids stay busy while school is out, and try one of the Town’s spring break camps.

Each year, the Town offers a series of youth camps to get kids out of the house. Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 20, a variety of camp options will be offered for kids ages 5 to 17. Full-day, half-day, and specialty camps will be at both the Recreation Center and the Miller Activity Complex. 

New this year – athletic half-day and full-day camps will give kids the opportunity to learn a different sport each day.

2020 camp offerings include:

  • Stemplicity Games: Robotic Adventures
    • Half day – 9 a.m. to noon
    • Full day – 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Rock Rec Camp
    • 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Rock Rec: Athletics
    • Half day – 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
    • Full day – 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • KidzArt: Spark Imagination
    • 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Dungeons & Dragons Role Play Lead
    • 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Pottery Boot Camp – Fun with Clay
    • 8:45 to 9:45 a.m.
