A study session to discuss the roles and responsibilities of the Design Review Board and final approval of Castle Rock Fire and Rescue’s 2020-2024 Community Driven Strategic Plan were both topics on Town Council’s Jan. 21 meeting agenda.
Here’s a more in-depth look at those agenda items:
Also on the agenda, Town Council received an update on the Friday, Feb. 7, Night to Shine event, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation. Night to Shine brings an unforgettable prom-night experience to people with special needs ages 14 and older. The Town’s Adaptive Recreation Program is hosting the event in partnership with Castle Oaks Covenant Church and Wellspring Community. Night to Shine is a national event in which hundreds of communities participate. This is the first year Castle Rock will be hosting the event.
The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 4.
