[ARCHIVED] Volunteer as a voice for transportation infrastructure and transit – applications due Jan. 6

Have a voice in local government by volunteering for the Public Works Commission

From traffic engineering to roadwork, fleet maintenance and snow operations, Public Works provides fundamental Town services. Be an influential part of this energetic department by volunteering for the Public Works Commission.  

The Public Works Commission makes recommendations to Town Council related to a variety of transportation projects and services. Meetings are held at 5:30 p.m. on the first Monday of each month at the Public Works Service Center, 4175 N. Castleton Court. 

Currently, there is one vacancy on the Public Works Commission. Castle Rock residents can apply by 5 p.m. on Jan. 6 through CRgov.com/Boards. The term of the role will expire May 31, 2020. 

As a key part of Town government, boards and commissions acquire and study information; provide recommendations to Town staff and Council; and obtain public comment to reflect the community’s voice.
