[ARCHIVED] Castle Rock Police search for a missing endangered adult


Castle Rock Police received a call regarding a missing endangered 18 year old just before 4:30 p.m. Craig “CJ” Estlund left his residence near Plum Creek Parkway and Emerald Drive after having a disagreement with family. Estlund has an intellectual disability and autism and may be unable to recognize dangerous situations such as exposure to cold weather.

Estlund is described as 5’9” tall and 145 pounds. He has brown hair with a blond streak in the center and may be wearing glasses. He was last seen in the area of 5th Street and Perry Street in downtown Castle Rock wearing an orange Denver Broncos shirt, blue sweat pants, and blue shoes.

Castle Rock Police are asking the community to be on the lookout for Estlund and to check their property frequently until he is located. Anyone who sees him or has information about Estlund’s whereabouts is asked to call Castle Rock Police at 303-663-6100.
