[ARCHIVED] Glow and dance for a good cause; Adaptive Recreation fundraiser Sept. 20

Glow Dance Party Fitness Fundraiser

Take the work out of working out and help a great cause. The Glow Dance Party Fitness Fundraiser, benefiting the Town’s Adaptive Recreation program, shakes its way to the Amphitheater at Philip S. Miller Park Friday, Sept. 20.

Enjoy great music, dancing, prizes and more at this fundraising event from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Participants are encouraged to wear their best “glow” gear and light-up accessories. Registration is $10 per person. Glow T-shirts (for the first 50 registered), glow sticks and face painting will be provided.

Plus, raffle prizes including passes to Castle Rock Zip Line Tours, the Miller Activity Complex, the Recreation Center and Red Hawk Ridge Golf Course will be given away.

Try out some of the hottest fitness formats like Zumba, Soca-Fit, World of Dance U-Jam, and many other dance programs, all while contributing to a great cause. Come out for a night of camaraderie, high-energy exercise and glow in the dark fun. Registration and more information is available at

The Town’s Adaptive Recreation program supports members of the community, and their families, who have cognitive and physical disabilities and helps them live an active lifestyle. Funds raised at the event are used to provide scholarships and adaptive equipment for the adaptive recreation program.
