Town Council selected Cobblestone Ranch as the next neighborhood park location based on community feedback last year. Council also allocated $4 million to develop the roughly 10-acre first phase. Before the project can move forward, a master plan for the entire 168-acre site must be created. The Parks and Recreation Department now needs the community’s feedback to kick off the master planning process.
Join the conversation! Attend the Cobblestone Ranch Open House Tuesday, Aug. 27, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Staff and the design team, Norris Design, will be at a tent on the east of Arabella Drive, just north of the roundabout.
Following resident feedback, the park master plan concept will be developed and presented to the community at a second open house in October. Once the master plan is complete and approved, there will be additional open houses to finalize design elements for the 10-acre first phase.

Having a park within walking distance of every Castle Rock resident is a goal for the Town’s Parks and Recreation Department. Norris Design has previously worked with the Town on the development of Deputy Zack S. Parrish III Memorial Park, Wrangler Park and the redesign of Castle North Park.
