[ARCHIVED] One victim seriously injured after shooting at Ridge Road King Soopers

Three suspects remain at-large while another is recovering from injuries after a Tuesday evening shooting. There is no threat to the community.

Castle Rock Police and Castle Rock Fire and Rescue responded around 7 p.m. Tuesday to a call of a shooting at the King Soopers Grocery Store located at 750 North Ridge Road in Castle Rock.

Detectives have determined there was an altercation between the victim and the suspects that led to the victim being shot once in the upper body. The victim was transported to an area hospital in serious condition.

The three suspects fled the scene in an early 2000 model maroon SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Suburban or similar vehicle. The suspects are described as one white male and two Hispanic males, all in their mid-twenties and all wearing white painting uniforms. At this point, it is uncertain what led to this shooting.

The victim is a 25-year-old Hispanic male, but his name is not being released.

Detectives ask that anyone with information contact Castle Rock Police at 303-663-6100. If you or someone you know sees the vehicle or the suspects, please do not approach them. Just contact the local police agency and provide the information.

No additional information is available at this time.
