Although we may not always see them, creatures big and small inhabit Castle Rock. From June to October, the Town will host Animals Around the Rock, a five-event series all about Castle Rock’s wild side. Presented in partnership with the Douglas Land Conservancy, join us to discover more about the many types of animals that live over, under and around our community.
Find out what these fascinating creatures eat, how they hunt, where they live and how they benefit from the local ecosystems. At many of these events, kids and parents are encouraged to get up close to the animal ambassadors, ask questions and take pictures. There will also be small crafts and activities before each event.
