The 27th Annual Castle Rock Rotary Ducky Derby and the Festival Park Farmer's Market.
Join the fun on June 11 with the Festival Park Farmer’s Market by Local Colorado and the Ducky Derby. The Farmers Market opens at 8 a.m. Activities for the Ducky Derby will start at 9 a.m.
At the Market, you will find an assortment of local foods, art and crafts provided by local Colorado vendors. Come for lunch and enjoy food from several local food trucks and beer on tap at the beer tent. Kids can have their faces painted, have a custom balloon creature made by our resident clown, enjoy several carnival games or fun in the bounce house.
The main event for the day is the Ducky Derby, where thousands of numbered rubber Duckies are released into Plum Creek at 1 p.m. and they “race” a half mile to the finish line. The first ten Duckies earn cash prize money for their ticket holders.
