Knowing where to begin your family research can be overwhelming and confusing. We'll keep your head from spinning by focusing on how to start your genealogy journey the correct way and avoid some of the mistakes that many of us made when we began our research. We’ll define terms and best practices, and learn what records are available and how to find them. We’ll look at how to organize our research and where to put all the data that we find. Many a seasoned genealogist has had to go back and make corrections after years of research (including your presenter). Let’s avoid some common mistakes and get started on the right foot!
