You are invited to attend, either in person or virtually, a neighborhood meeting regarding a proposed Site Development Plan in your area known as “Affinity at Castle Rock 55+ Apartments”. This is the second neighborhood meeting for this proposed project. The purpose of this neighborhood meeting is to share the proposed site development plan, highlight changes made to the plan since the first neighborhood meeting was held, obtain your feedback, and answer any questions you may have. The project is 6.8 acres in size and is located south of the intersection of Regent Street and Meadows Parkway. 


Project Description

The Affinity at Castle Rock 55+ Apartments project is a proposed active adult, 55+ age restricted development of 174 units contained in one 4-story apartment building. Also proposed are 273 parking spaces, either covered or surface stalls, as well as other site amenities. The building will be elevator serviced with interior corridors. The unit mix consists of studios, one-bedrooms, and two-bedrooms. All units offer an open floor plan with a full-size washer/dryer, in-unit storage, and free satellite TV and wireless internet. On-site amenities will include a theater room, fitness center, game room, pub, golf simulator, indoor pool, workshop, and community garden. 

Within this notice, you will find a vicinity map, site plan, and rendering for the proposed Site Development Plan. Additionally, the current Site Development Plan submittal documents are available on the Town’s website at www.crgov.com/DevelopmentActivityMap. To access the documents, click on the marker on the map or on project number, SDP22-0036, on the left side of the map.

Information for Those Attending Virtually

The neighborhood meeting will be held online using a GoTo meeting. 

  • All attendees will be muted upon entry to the meeting
  • Questions will be held until the end of the initial presentation by the Applicant/Owner’s project team
  • In-person questions will be taken first, followed by online questions, and ending with phone-in questions
  • Online participants may ask a question (or make a comment) verbally by using the "Raise Your Hand" function
    1. Hover over the React icon in the lower primary toolbar
    2. Select Raise Your Hand
    3. The hand icon will glow blue while it is raised and return to gray once it is lowered by you or the organizer
  • The Applicant/Owner’s project team will work down the list of raised hands and phone-in participants and activate the user’s audio one at a time to allow them to speak
  • Please be aware that the meeting will be recorded to ensure an accurate record of comments and questions about the project
