Dear Neighbor,

You are cordially invited to our neighborhood meeting regarding a proposed Planned Development Plan and Zoning Regulations Amendment in your area, known as, “Alexander Place”. This is the second neighborhood meeting for this proposed project and will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022 at 6:00 PM MDT. The purpose of the meeting is to present the proposal, answer any questions, and listen to feedback. This meeting is the first of at least three neighborhood meetings required prior to scheduling any public hearings. You may participate in this meeting virtually via a Zoom webinar. 


Calamar Senior Living Comminutes, with the assistance of Galloway, is looking to develop 382 Alexander Place into an independent senior living community. The property, approximately 8.36 acres in size, is currently zoned to allow a variety of senior living types including single family detach/attached, multi-family, and assisted living with a maximum total of 125 units. The proposed rezoning would allow for a 135-unit independent senior living multifamily community. The proposed zoning would allow for a three story, approximately 47,000 square feet building. A rezoning of the property is required to allow for the increase in units and modified layout of the property. Public hearings will be required before the Town of Castle Rock Planning Commission and Town Council.

The neighborhood meeting will be held online using a Zoom webinar. 

  • All virtual participants will automatically have their video/audio turned off upon entry to the meeting
  • Questions will be held until the end of the initial presentation by the project team
  • To ask a question (or make a comment) verbally, please use the "Raise Hand" function in Zoom
  • Those participating by phone may press *9
  • The project team will work down the list of questions and raised hands in order and activate the user’s audio one at a time to allow them to speak
  • Please be aware that the meeting will be recorded to ensure an accurate record of comments and questions about the project
