Hybrid Historic Preservation Board Meeting: Dec. 1, 2021, 6 p.m.
Notice is hereby given that an application has been made for a duplex home (2 homes attached within one structure) and a detached garage on the vacant lot at 6 S. Cantril Street, which is within the Craig and Gould’s neighborhood. Each duplex unit would total approximately 2,000 square feet, for a total building square footage of approximately 4,000 square feet. The detached garage structure would total approximately 500 square feet. The duplex would be two stories above grade. Vehicle access to the site would be through the rear alley to the detached garage. Landscaping would be primarily xeriscape or similar, with limited or no sod. All proposed new construction within the Craig and Gould’s neighborhood require approval from the Historic Preservation Board.
The applicant held two neighborhood meetings.
Pursuant to Resolutions 2020-122 and 2021-060 as approved by Town Council, a hybrid public hearing on said application will be held before the Historic Preservation Board at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021. Attached is a vicinity map, proposed plan, and elevations. Copies of all application materials are available for inspection at the Development Services Department, 100 N. Wilcox St., Castle Rock, CO, during regular business hours.
