Dear Neighbor,
You are cordially invited to a virtual neighborhood meeting regarding a proposed project in your area, known as Auburn Heights Apartments. The project proposes to amend the zoning and the currently approved site development plan. This is the first neighborhood meeting for the proposed project and will take place on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 6:00-7:00 p.m. DST via a zoom webinar. The project is approximately 6 acres in size and located on Lot 2 of Auburn Ridge within the southwest section of E. Wolfersberger Drive and Auburn Drive.

The purpose of this neighborhood meeting is to share and obtain feedback on the proposed Auburn Heights Apartments project and answer any questions you may have. Auburn Ventures II, LLC is proposing to amend the zoning to permit standard multi-family development and to amend the currently approved site development plan to rearrange the residential buildings on the site.

Currently, the zoning only permits multi-family development for seniors. This zoning amendment would permit multi-family development for people of all ages. The new site development plan proposes 104 apartment units within five residential buildings, each of which would be two stories, some with a walk out level. In addition, there will be a clubhouse with leasing office, pool, playground and other site amenities. In the new site development plan, we are proposing to locate the residential buildings further away from the adjacent single-family homes to the south. We anticipate a parking ratio of approximately 2.13 spaces per unit consisting of a mix of detached garage spaces and surface parking spaces totaling 221 spaces. We will also be providing electric car charging stations for the project with the ability to quickly provide more charging stations as the market demands.

A project presentation will be made by Auburn Ventures II, LP, followed by an opportunity for questions and answers from the audience. To keep the meeting running smoothly, the following ground rules will be observed:

  • All participants will automatically have their video/audio turned off upon entry to the meeting
  • The panelists, including the Applicant/Owner and project team, will have audio available to make the presentation and answer questions
  • Questions will be held until the end of the initial presentation by the project team. Once the presentation concludes please use one of the following methods to ask a question:
    • To ask questions using the computer keyboard, please use the “Q&A” function to type in and submit your question. Please try to keep your comments focused and concise so that as many people as possible can participate in the limited meeting time
    • To ask a question verbally, please use the "Raise Hand" function in Zoom. This is done by clicking on the "Participants" icon at the bottom of your screen, then clicking on the "Raise Hand" button
    • For those on the phone with audio only, to raise your hand, please hit *9 on the dial pad
  • The project team will work down the list of questions and raised hands in order and activate the user's audio one at a time to allow them to speak
  • Please be aware that the meeting will be recorded to ensure an accurate record of comments and questions about the project
