Public Notice - Use by Special Review 1750 Wild Rye Court Accessory Dwelling Unit - VIRTUAL MEETING

Virtual Planning Commission Meeting:  Thursday, March 25, 2021
 
Notice is hereby given that an application has been made for a Use by Special Review for a home addition to 1750 Wild Rye Court to accommodate an accessory dwelling unit. The addition would add 312 square feet to the main floor for the accessory dwelling unit and a 312 square foot expansion of the basement. The accessory dwelling unit would utilize an existing bedroom on the main floor and the addition would create a new leisure room, kitchen, bath, and new rear deck. The proposed accessory dwelling would total approximately 454 square feet and would be accessed from a door on the side of the house in addition to being accessible from within the house. Additions to existing homes to create an accessory dwelling unit require public hearings before the Planning Commission for review and recommendation and Town Council for review and final decision. The applicant held their pre-submittal neighborhood meeting on February 9, 2021.

A public hearing into said application will be held before the Planning Commission on March 25, 2021 at 6 p.m. All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing.

The Town Council hearing will be held on a date to be determined and will be noticed as per the Town of Castle Rock noticing requirements.

Pursuant to Resolutions 2020-044 and 2020-045, and 2020-122 as approved by Town Council, a virtual public hearing on said application will be held before the Planning Commission on Thursday, March 25 at 6 p.m. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the hearing will be held remotely with no in-person attendance.
