Notice is hereby given that an application has been made for a Planned Development Plan Amendment for Planning Area 3 of the Promenade at Castle Rock, Lots 2A-1, 2A-2, 2A-3, 2A-4, Block 3, Promenade at Castle Rock Filing No. 1, Amendment No. 8, Town of Castle Rock, County of Douglas, State of Colorado. The proposed amendment is to rezone PA3 to include multi-family residential and open space private uses as well as to dedicate approximately 43 acres, located on the east side of I-25, to the Town of Castle Rock for Town Open Space. PA3 is a 15-acre site generally located in the center of the Promenade at Castle Rock between Castlegate West and Promenade Parkway and is comprised of four lots. This rezone application does not intend to change the existing architectural standards of the Promenade.

Previous neighborhood meetings regarding the proposed Planned Development Plan Amendment occurred virtually on Sept. 29, 2020 and Nov. 4, 2020. The third virtual neighborhood meeting is scheduled for Feb. 1, 2021.

Pursuant to Resolutions 2020-044 and 2020-045 as approved by Town Council, a virtual public hearing on said application will be held before the Planning Commission on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. Public comments are encouraged.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the hearing will be held remotely with no in-person attendance. If you would like to participate in the virtual public hearing, please use any of the following options:

The agenda for the Feb. 11, 2021 Planning Commission hearing will be posted no later than close of business Thursday, Feb. 4, 2021
