Each fall, the Town plans its budget for the following year. Members of the community have numerous opportunities to provide input during this process, beginning with the biannual community survey that was distributed last spring. A budget open house was also held on Aug. 22.
Town staff anticipates introducing the Proposed 2024 Budget to Town Council and the community in October and holding the two required formal hearings on the budget after that:
Oct. 3: Initial introduction of budget
Oct. 19: First reading of 2024 Budget ordinance
Nov. 2: Second reading of 2024 Budget ordinance
