East Plum Creek Reach 5 Phase II

Project scope

Castle Rock Water's Stormwater Division is designing channel and floodplain improvements for East Plum Creek Reach 5 Phase II, located downstream of the Wilcox/Wolfensberger bridge. The proposed channel improvements consist of realigning the stream, constructing target drop structures with sheet pile cutoff walls, bank stabilization and a sediment basin. The project will protect existing infrastructure. 

Timeline

o    Design: January 2020 to January 2022

o    Permitting: January 2022 to June 2023

o    Construction: Fall 2023 to Spring 2024

Contracts

Olsson and Associates is completing the engineering design, surveying and geotechnical services for the stream stabilization improvements. Corvus is completing the permitting services. The budget for this project is $2,456,845.
