Omni Tributary Stabilization

Project description

This drainageway improvement project is designed to preserve, enhance and reconstruct the natural floodplains in our community. The infrastructure serves to reduce public risk from stream channel erosion and flooding. This project also has a water quality component that ensures our renewable drinking water supplies are preserved and protected. The project will install boulder drop structures, bank stabilization measures and fill material along both the Omni Tributary channel and an unnamed tributary adjacent to Red Hawk Golf Course. Protection of existing vegetation and the trail network is a priority.

Feb. - Sept. 2022
