To help ensure masks are available for those who need them, the Town is making nonmedical disposable masks available free of charge at Town Hall for Town businesses and residents to pick up.
The process is simple: Come to Town Hall, 100 N. Wilcox St., between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Be sure to wear a mask and to practice social distancing as indicated by floor signage.
The Town hopes to keep masks available through early February, but supplies may run out. The Town is being reimbursed for the masks purchased for this program through the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
Town-licensed businesses are welcome to help themselves to one box of 50 masks.
Residents may take up to two masks per member of their household. (The masks available for residents will be individually factory-sealed.)
When done using these masks, wearers are reminded to remove them using their straps, place them into the garbage and clean their hands with soap and water or sanitizer.
