There are a number of resources available to seniors who live in Castle Rock. This page includes a summary of Town-offered services and information about others who also provide services for seniors in Castle Rock.
Town of Castle Rock services
Recreation programs
Numerous fitness and adult recreation programs are offered through the Town's Parks and Recreation Department. Seniors can utilize the Recreation Center with SilverSneakers® and Renew Active™ programs. Email the Rec Center, register for programs online, or call 303-660-1036 for more information.
Taxi Voucher Program
The Town of Castle Rock offers a Taxi Voucher Program for individuals in the community who cannot drive, have a disability that prevents them from driving or do not have access to a vehicle. Registration for this program is available online, or please call 720-295-TRIP (8747) for more information.
RUOK program
CRPD's RUOK program regularly connects with the most vulnerable populations to make sure they are doing well, are safe and to help identify any needs they may have. There is no charge for the program, and it's available to any resident over 65 years old or any person with a disability living alone.
Castle Rock Water discount
Castle Rock Water offers a discount of $3 per month to those 65 and older in Castle Rock. In order to apply, individuals need to submit a completed Senior Citizen Discount form (PDF) and age verification to Castle Rock Water. Email Castle Rock Water or call 303-660-1373 for more information.

Many other entities in the area provide services and support to Castle Rock's senior population, including:
- The Castle Rock Senior Activity Center offers numerous activities, health and financial services, a hot lunch program, training classes and transportation services throughout the area. Call 303-688-9498 for more information.
- The State of Colorado offers property tax exemption and deferral programs to those who qualify. More details on these programs are available through the Douglas County Assessor's Office.
- The Denver Regional Council of Governments serves as the region's Area Agency on Aging and has numerous resources available to support older adults in the region. DRCOG also provides a resource guide to connect people to legal, health and home repair services, to name a few.
