Kickoff to Summer!
This interactive evening spent with the talented musicians of Howl at the Moon, will have you belting out your favorite tunes and dancing in the park! Request your favorite songs, revel in their hilarious banter, all the while enjoying food truck fare and cocktails. There will be activities and treats for the kids, as well. First Fridays will remind you why summers are best spent outdoors.
All the way from L.A., the Red Hot Chili Pepper Tribute band has been "spreading the love for the Chilis to fans across the U.S. and abroad" for the last decade. Keep your 4th of July celebrations going strong, and head over to Festival Park to enjoy some of the best rock music of the 90s through today. Fun for the whole family, we will have some patriotic fun, food, and cocktails to jump start your weekend.
Mike Nash and the Southern Drawl Band will bring their "Southern Rockin' Country music" all the way from Tennessee to Festival Park. They have played with major artists including Lynyrd Skynrd, Charlie Daniels Band, Eli Young Band, and Justin Moore. One of their greatest achievements came in 2012 when the UNiv. of Tenn debuted the video for the band's rocked up, barn burning version of "Rockytop" on the jumbo-tron at Neyland Stadium. The song went on to smash radio charts and is one of the most popular versions in America even being played on NBC's Sunday Night Football for millions of viewers in celebration of Peyton Manning's record breaking touchdown pass in 2014.
Head into Fair and Rodeo weekend, with some southern rockin' country, beer, and BBQ in Downtown Castle Rock.
