Pursuant to C.R.S. 9-5.5 112,114, elevator and conveyance owners are required to schedule a periodic inspection of an existing elevator or conveyance on, at least, an annual basis. The conveyance or elevator owner or owner’s agent is required to schedule the inspection using a third party licensed private inspector
The State of Colorado maintains a list of licensed conveyance inspectors that can be viewed on the State of Colorado website.
After the inspection
Provide your report to the Town for review. Upon receipt of a passing report, an invoice for $50 will be generated.
After the Town receives payment , the Certificate of Operations will be issued to the owner of record. The Certificate of Operations is valid for one year from the last expiration date.
