Board and Commission Vacancies

The Town of Castle Rock needs you!

Get involved with your local government. Consider volunteering to serve in an advisory position on one of our boards or commissions.

Terms and requirements  

  • Terms are two years and three-term limited, unless otherwise noted
  • Preference is given to Town of Castle Rock residents, followed by those who reside outside Town but within Douglas County
  • Appointees serve at the discretion of Town Council
  • Applicants are encouraged to review the bylaws for each board or commission, the Boards and Commissions Member Handbook, and the Town's Code of Conduct before applying.

Current board and commission vacancies

Board of Building Appeals (three-year terms)
Experience or training on matters pertaining to building construction is preferred. Meets the first Mondays in March, June, September and December at 6 p.m. at Town Hall. 

  • One vacancy for a partial term ending May 31, 2024


Public Works Commission
Preference is given to result in membership reflecting Town Council districts, if possible.  Meets the first Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the Public Works Service Center, 4175 N. Castleton Court.
