Teen Advisory Group
Teens, make a difference in your community and have your voice heard! The Town is recruiting teens to play an active role in planning and carrying out Parks and Recreation activities for the community’s youth.
Purpose and function
The Recreation Department has established a group of teens in seventh through 12th grades to assist with the general planning, preparation and organizing of events and activities in both the Youth Division and Town. Youth in this group act as the voice for teens in Castle Rock by expressing their opinions and ideas. The group also acts as a liaison with Town Council to make sure teen voices heard in Town decisions. Students help with Town events, like Spooktacular, Daddy Daughter Ball, Climb4Change and more.
The Teen Advisory Group meets bi-monthly as a group at the Castle Rock Recreation Center. However, times, dates and locations are subject to change. Students must be Town of Castle Rock residents.
