Overview
The Castle Rock Fire and Rescue Department has an ongoing car seat check program. Currently, there are 28 certified car seat technicians. Technicians are available to answer questions, help with the installation of car seats and check the safety of car seats.

The program is designed to:

• Ensure every child is properly restrained with the car seat appropriate for the child with regard to height, weight and age.
• Ensure each car seat is properly installed.
• Educate the public on safety for transporting their most important packages, their children.
