The Town clerk serves as the executive secretary to Town Council
. The clerk provides Castle Rock residents with information regarding agenda items for upcoming meetings as well as past actions of Council.
The Town Clerk's Office:
- Acts as the official custodian of all records related to Town business, including the Castle Rock Municipal Code
- Serves as a point of contact for resident inquiries and acts as liaison between residents and Town Council
- Processes all liquor license applications in accordance with the requirements of the Colorado State Statutes and assists with administration of the Town’s business and tax license program
- Conducts the Town’s annual election for Council members and Townwide ballot issues, including redistricting as required by the Town Charter and compliance with the provisions of the Taxpayers Bill of Rights
