    Join Nature’s Educators for a one-hour presentation featuring some of the amazing reptiles and amphibians that live in our area. Meet up to six native reptiles and learn about their habitats, diets, defenses, conservation and more. This is a free family-friendly program presented by the Town in partnership with Douglas Land Conservancy. Donations are appreciated to help further the program! Registration is encouraged but not required. Walk-ins are welcome as space allows. Donations to Douglas Land Conservancy are suggested as $10 per person or $20 per family.

The reservoir has not yet opened for public access, so these events are great opportunities to explore this scenic reservoir. Boat inspections will be on-site. Registration is required. Rueter-Hess Reservoir is located on Hess Road, one mile east of I-25 at the Castle Pines Parkway exit.

    The Chamber’s Annual WineFest is a festival where wine lovers will have an opportunity to participate in a Grand Tasting of Colorado wines at one convenient location. This annual event arrives the third weekend in July and draws wine aficionados for the enormous variety of Colorado wines, fabulous food trucks, and an amazing local band to dance into the night.     Celebrate the fair in Downtown Castle Rock, presented by the Castle Rock Chamber in partnership with the Town of Castle Rock. The parade starts on the south end of Town, followed by a pancake breakfast at the Castle Rock Fire Department to benefit the Douglas County High School Huskies. With well over 75 entries, including bands, entertainment, local businesses, and civic organizations, the Fair Parade is a must-see.
