Tunes for Trail-Perks for Parks: That Eighties Band graphic

Popular 80s tribute band returns to Philip S. Miller Park

Grab your scrunchie, leather jacket and dancing shoes because it’s 80s night at the Amphitheater. That Eighties Band is back to play the hits as the third band in the Tunes for Trails, Perks for Parks series. The free concert will start at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 18.

Tunes for Trails, Perks for Parks is a four-concert series sponsored by 8z Real Estate that features a new band each month through August. The concerts run from 6:30-9 p.m. at the Amphitheater at Philip S. Miller Park. Open seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. So, come early and enjoy yard games, bounce houses and grab a bite to eat. Beer from a local brewery, wine and food will be available for purchase. Attendees are also welcome to pack a picnic, excluding outside liquor.

Please note, additional parking will be available at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. The Town trolley will make frequent stops starting at 6 p.m. until 9:15 p.m. The trolley will also make stops along the different parking areas at PSM to pick up guests and take them to the Amphitheater.

Donations and a percentage of proceeds from liquor sales will benefit the Castle Rock Parks and Trails Foundation in its work to enrich the Town’s parks, trails and recreational spaces.

The foundation is currently fundraising for exciting park enhancements, such as an outdoor FitGround workout area at Philip S. Miller Park. To learn more about the foundation, visit getoutdoorscastlerock.org.
