Downtown Mobility Master Plan

Town Council to review Downtown Mobility Master Plan July 16

Due to the unique character and historical nature of Downtown, for the past year Town staff has looked at creative ways to increase mobility in the area. Town Council will now be asked to review and approve the Downtown Mobility Master Plan at the July 16 Council meeting.

The goal of the plan is to identify transportation improvement projects that will maintain mobility, reduce congestion and improve access throughout Downtown. Additionally, the plan anticipates future growth and prioritizes projects based on need.

If approved, there are a number of recommendations to improve traffic flow, pedestrian safety, sidewalks and other items in the Downtown area, which can be considered in the future with additional public input and allocation of necessary Town resources.

The July 16 Town Council meeting begins at 6 p.m. in Town Hall Council Chambers, 100 N. Wilcox St. Or, watch Council live at CRgov.com/WatchCouncil. Recordings are posted online after the meeting.

The draft Downtown Mobility Master Plan can be found at CRgov.com/MoveAroundDT.
