Groundbreaking ceremony for Deputy Zack S. Parrish III Memorial Park

You're invited!

Please join the Parks and Recreation Department in celebrating the groundbreaking of the Town's next neighborhood park, Deputy Zack S. Parrish III Memorial Park. Light refreshments will be provided.

5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17
Meet in the field just north of Aspen View Academy Charter School
2131 Low Meadow Blvd
Castle Rock, CO 80109

The 5.5-acre park, at the intersection of Low Meadow Boulevard and Red Hawk Drive, is planned to include infrastructure for playing pickle ball, bocce ball, cornhole and horseshoes. A playground, picnic shelters, trails and a multi-use field round out the major planned amenities.

The construction budget for the park is $2.6 million, which is being funded through growth-related impact fees paid by developers. The park is slated to open in spring 2019.
